Abba Kyari Granted Bail By An Abuja Court
The suspected Deputy Commissioner of Police and an alleged drug trafficking cop, Abba Kyari, has been granted bail by a federal high court sitting in Abuja, on Thursday.
The suspected Deputy Commissioner of Police and an alleged drug trafficking cop, Abba Kyari, has been granted bail by a federal high court sitting in Abuja, on Thursday.
The Court granted Abba Kyari, bail after the Court of Appeal in February, rejected his appeal for bail against the ruling of a Federal High Court, Abuja, which last year refused to admit him to bail.
Barr. Hamza N. Dantani, one of the lawyers to the suspended cop disclosed this in a post on his Facebook page.
Kyari was arrested by the NDLEA in connection to a drug related case, after he was suspended by the Nigeria Police Force for an alleged relationship with Hushpupi, a convicted internet fraudster in the US.
US also declared him wanted and sought to extradict him to the US to face charges.
Kyari was already under investigation by the police and FBI, when he was arrested by the NDLEA and charged to court
